Our Bead Blasting services can provide a clean, bright, satin finish, without altering dimensional characteristics. These processes can improve parts in several ways from finishing, blending, removing light burrs and cleaning most light foreign matter. Bead Blasting can also be used to achieve a desired surface finish or texture. Advanced Precision routinely blasts products for medical, surgical, semiconductor and other applications. We use a wide variety of medias in various grits.
Small parts can be individually blasted in our Micro Abrasive Blaster, sometimes referred to as a Pencil Blaster. The tight focus of the abrasive stream is what makes Micro-Abrasive Blasting so unique. Without masking or shielding, blasting can be restricted to as small as 0.020 of an inch.
Larger parts can also be blasted in one of our larger Abrasive Blasters. These units will accommodate parts up to 36" in length.
